Here’s our RDYM events over the next few months:

August 18:         Luke Johnson/ The Keeva O’Mealey Band, The Vintage Church (New Orleans)

September 15: Tyler Crosson, (New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary)/ Logan Mason

October 13:       Troy Gause/ Christ Elliot, The Church Without Walls (New Orleans)

November 17:  Gary Permenter (Columbus, Ms)

Each event will start at 6:30pm at the Pearl River Baptist Association in Carriere, Ms.

Although we do not put a time limit on when and how God wants to work through these events, they usually run between 1 hour and 1:15 minutes.

May Youth Worship

Our May RDYM event is Wednesday, May 19 at 6:30pm at the Pearl River Baptist Association in Carriere, Ms.

Our speaker will be Kevin Jackson, youth minister at Harmony Baptist Church in Picayune, MS. Coming back to lead worship is Christ Elliot and Jase Ellis.

Although we do not put a time limit on when and how God wants to work through these events, they usually run between 1 hour and 1:15 minutes.

Kevin has been married for almost three years to his beautiful wife, Patty and have just welcomed their first child, Jacob, into the world.  Kevin work’s at Roseland Park Baptist Church during the week doing light maintenance and is also a full-time student at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. Kevin is working toward a Master’s degree in Pastoral Ministries and hopes to be a pastor whenever the Lord so leads.

Jase Ellis was born in Lake Charles, LA and currently lives in Bogalusa, LA. He is the youth minister of Mount Pleasant Baptist church and has been in this position for about 2 months now. He has been doing worship for over 3 years.

Chris Elliott was born in Jackson, MS and currently lives in New Orleans, LA.  He has been leading worship for 8 years now and does a lot of homeless ministry around the city of New Orleans.

They believe that worship is their response to God’s attributes and a way of life. Breathing air, walking, seeing, hearing, singing, etc… can all be acts of worship. Their goal as worship leaders is to lead people to the throne of God, and they will do whatever it takes to do that. They both attend the Leavell College undergrad program at the New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary.

April Youth Worship

Our April RDYM event is Wednesday, April 14 at 6:30pm at the Pearl River Baptist Association in McNeil, Ms.

Our speaker will be Walt Barnes (youth minister @ Roseland Park Baptist Church) from right here in Picayune, Ms., and making their first appearance leading worship for us is Chris Elliott and Jase Ellis.

Although we do not put a time limit on when and how God wants to work through these events, they usually run between 1 hour and 1:15 minutes.

Walt Barnes served as camp pastor at Centrifuge camps, Mississippi Youth Weeks , and has also spoken at World Changers events. In April 2009 he joined the staff of Roseland Park Baptist Church in Picayune, Ms. where he serves as the Minister to Students.
